house on River Road , survivor of 1937 Louisville flood
row past it almost every day

close to the boat house
gorgeous at sunrise

I find it fascination that Louisville is still such a prospering city after something like that happened and when it happened, it gives hope for all the natural disasters that are happening now, such as the tornadoes in Alabama since this happened in the middle of the great depression.

  1. I think this idea is wonderful and I hope you have a fun time with it. Because of the nature of it, consider thinking about archival research. It is going to be helpful, and possibly necessary. But its fun digging around in old pictures and stuff.
