One example of a oral history is the excerpt of the fathers dream and then the explanation of the dream. the father explains that he had a dream about his grandfather's voice and then goes on to explain the tradition of the weakly reading of the Torah. (Spiegleman 59)
The entire book could be considered a Oral history because by the guidelines given by Judith Moyer on the Step by Step guide to Oral history. you must start with questions(Moyer), and the son begins by asking questions.
